His ex wife (divorced in 2020) Marina Wheeler (wikipedia)  was born to BBC correspondent Sir Charles Wheeler and his second wife, Dip Singh, an Indian Punjabi Sikh; her ancestry goes back to the city of Sargodha in West Punjab, present-day Pakistan, with her maternal family migrating to present-day India after the Partition of India.^[2][3]

UK Finance Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer is Rishi Sunak (wikipedia) who was Born in Southampton, Hampshire, to Punjabi Hindu parents who had emigrated from East Africa, he studied at Winchester College. He subsequently read PPE at Lincoln College, Oxford, and later gained an MBA from Stanford University as a Fulbright Scholar. After graduating, he worked for Goldman Sachs and later as a partner at hedge fund management firm The Children’s Investment Fund Management.
