Germany and the Maldives are set to reopen their borders for Indian travellers. Germany has also lifted its travel ban from five countries that were badly hit by the Delta strain. These five countries are India, UK, Russia, Nepal, and Portugal. Both Germany and the Maldives have also allowed non-essential travel from India.
Likewise, the Maldives will resume flights from India and other South Asian countries from July 15. Go First and IndiGo have already announced their flight schedules between the two countries.

Canada is also expected to ease off travel restrictions for vaccinated travellers from India; currently Canada has approved vaccines by Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca/Covishield, and Johnson & Johnson. There will be restrictions for those who are not fully vaccinated or vaccinated with an unapproved vaccine.
As of now, there are connecting flights available from India to Canada as direct flights remain prohibited till July 21.
